You do not need to prepare anything to schedule a consultation. But if you want to move quickly, a few items help.
Bring a list of your property, including your home, vehicles, and any land. Deeds and titles are helpful but not required at the first meeting.
Write down the names of the people you may want to include: beneficiaries, an executor, guardians for children, and anyone you would trust with a power of attorney.
Finally, bring your questions. There is no such thing as a question that is too basic here.
